The Colvend Parent Council is absolutely delighted to share the wonderful news from our recent school inspection!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We created our own winter scene using junk modelling!

A huge thank you to Jas P Wilson for showing us around the site at Dalbeattie: from design to construction and welding to spray painting, we saw and discussed so much about their business. It really has inspired us all in STEM.

Next week!

Save the date for our next pre-school group Monday 24th November 9.30-11

We are so lucky to be joined by local musician and music teacher Eva of Solway Music Makers who will be running one of her fantastic children's sessions for us. Aimed at children 3-5 but younger siblings very welcome too.

We will be using the time before / after the session to try making our own instruments so freel free to bring along a tin can (no sharp edges!), plastic tub/lid, or small carboard box.

Donations very gratefully received to cover costs. Tea and coffee for parents/guardians.
