Alex attended NPA for many years before going to RWCMD for a year and then on to BIMM in London. She has now gone to Berklee New York. This reel I believe she made as part of her first term’s assignments and features a few little snippets from our performances! Thought you might all want to see it!

Alex has a Gofundme page running to help fund her studies there. If anyone can help in any way, she’d very much appreciate it.

We wish all students who attended Nidus Performing Arts 2003 - 2024 and those who attended when Ffion took it over till it recently closed its doors in July 2025, all the very best in their futures and thank everyone for their custom and support over the years. We take pupils from age 4, training in performing arts, musical theatre and helping grow confidence.

Taught by a Musical Theatre degree graduate who has years of experience in the arts and working with children of all ages & needs.🌟

5 - 8.5 years = Stage Bugs 10am - 11am Saturdays
9 - 13 years - Nidus Seniors 11am - 1.30pm Saturdays

We offer a 2 week trial in both sessions to check it's for your child and they enjoy it. At Nidus, we offer a two week trial which means parents interested in enrolling their young person, can make sure they are happy and enjoying the classes before enrolling fully. If it all good then an enrollment form and invoice issued and they can continue however if it’s not for them, a simple “thank you but they don’t feel it’s for them” will be all that’s needed…..so nothing lost. This is offered for Stage Bugs (currently 5-8.5 years) 10-11am and Nidus Seniors (currently 9-12 years) 11am-1.30pm all at Able Studios, Nant Bran (formally Upper Cwmbran Infants).

We have limited space in our Stage Bugs class. The ‘bugs’ have a session on Saturday mornings 10am-11am at Able Studios (formally upper Cwmbran Infants) and have a fun filled hour of acting/drama, dance and singing. The terms roughly follow the LEA school terms and we offer 2 weeks as a trial for the Bugs to decide whether or not it is for them. Although the class is for 5-7 year olds, we do accept slightly older or younger if they are happy & comfortable in the class. If you are interested in your own little bug having a two week trial then please direct message with their name, dob, email and contact number plus any other information of which you feel we should be made aware. 😊 It will be lovely to meet you. For young people aged 9-12 interested in a trial, sessions are longer (11am - 1.30pmm) also on Saturdays.
