Teddy Sloman, from Griffithstown near Pontypool, was a happy two-year-old when he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, 14 months ago.

Since then, his parents, Sarah and Kramer, have remained by his side as he undergoes specialist care during a continuous stay in hospital.

But an experimental treatment designed to prevent the cancer from returning is no longer available to UK patients, despite being offered until recently.

His family are now racing to raise £250,000 within weeks so Teddy can travel to the US for the treatment.

Summer has been in full swing both with the weather and life recently so socials have been a bit quiet
