Under the fleece was a great crop of weeds. If we could only sell weeds.
We need the fleece to protect the brassicas.
We took the fleece of yesterday and went through with the weeding machines followed by bed weeder (hand weeding).
Crop looks better now.
We will need to go over these once more.
By then the crop will be larger and pigeons generally leave it alone.
No more fleece.
