We have a new name and a new image that we think reflects
our dedication to the most modern technology, techniques
and materials. If a new way of dealing with a chipped tooth,
or preventing dental problems in the first place, is available in
London or Tokyo we believe it should be available in Ayrshire
too. So we have made some improvements, and we’ll go on
changing and developing because that’s what learning
and technology does. But many things have stayed the same. Our whole reason for
being here is you and your teeth, and we will always offer you
the most professional, high-quality and absolutely reliable
care in the most relaxed and comfortable surroundings we
can provide for you. If you’re one of our regular customers, we
look forward to seeing you again and hope you’ll like our new
look. If you’re visiting us for the first time we look forward
to introducing ourselves and our services.

OFFICIAL: Midas signs for NEO Dental.
Same-day crowns in Cumnock, from scan to fitted in around an hour.

NEO Dental is delighted to announce the signing of Midas from SprintRay. The new number 10 joins the squad with immediate effect.

Known for his golden touch and lightning pace, Midas 3D prints strong, ceramic-filled crowns in under 8 minutes. For suitable cases, that means a single visit, with no temporary crown and no second appointment.

Manager Dr Robert Kerr said: "We've been watching Midas for a while. Same-day restorations are golden for our patients, and he's going to be a big part of how we work from now on."

Midas will also play in inlays, onlays and veneers.

Not every tooth is suitable for same-day treatment and timings vary from case to case. We'll talk you through your options at your appointment.

A proud moment for the NEO Dental team.

Dr Robert Kerr was invited by , as one of their Key Opinion Leaders, to host a webinar and Q&A session for dentists from Tooth Club practices across England.

The webinar showed how we use the SprintRay digital ecosystem here in Cumnock, from digital scanning and smile design to 3D printing, and walked through our no-prep veneer workflow from start to finish.

A key part of that is the trial smile. Before any treatment begins, we 3D print a preview of your new smile that you can try on in your own mouth. You see the shape, length and look of your veneers, tell us what you think, and we refine the design together, so there are no surprises on the day.

With no-prep veneers, we bond seamlessly to your natural teeth, often with little to no drilling—making your transformation both beautiful and gentle. We’ll be here to guide you in finding the right option during your consultation.

NEO Dental’s Robert Kerr was recently honoured to be invited by the Scottish Dental Academy to deliver a lecture and hands-on masterclass on his fully digital guided implant protocols at the Southern Implant Training Centre, just outside Lisbon.

Few things excite Robert more than sharing the possibilities of digital dentistry. The opportunity to spend time with such enthusiastic delegates, all eager to learn, challenge traditional workflows and embrace digital technologies, made for a truly memorable event.

The programme focused on fully digital implant workflows, from treatment planning and guided surgery through to restorative ex*****on, demonstrating how modern digital protocols can improve accuracy, predictability and patient outcomes.

His daughter, Lexi, completed the Neo team in Lisbon, who provided social media and videography support throughout the event, capturing the education, innovation and energy that made the course such a success.

It was a genuine privilege to be welcomed by such engaged delegates and to contribute to the ongoing advancement of digital implant dentistry. Events like these are a reminder that the future of dentistry is already here - and that sharing knowledge remains one of the most powerful ways to drive the profession forward.

Sharp pain when drinking something cold?

A lot of people assume tooth sensitivity is “just normal”.

Not always.

Sensitivity can sometimes be your mouth’s way of warning you about:
