Heather's Childminding Service I'm a childminder based in the village offering a flexible, professional service.

*** Please note I’m temporarily suspending my service from the 19th April 2021. I’ll update nearer the date of my return to service ***

Childcare provided from 7am to 6pm weekdays with all snacks and meals provided. Since I am based in the village we can benefit from walking to and from school, the park and visit the local shop. The house has dedicated play rooms with various toys, games and craft supplies with a large garden to explore.

We look at the quality of care in Scotland to ensure it meets high standards. When improvement is needed, we support services to make positive changes.

Just a wee update regarding resuming my service.
Unfortunately until I have had further guidance regarding the lifting of precautions for those shielding I will remain closed.

I’m closed at the moment. Accepting children into my house would put our own family at risk and we have members in our household that have an underlying health condition with a weakened immune system.

When the official guidelines allow for normal day to day activities to resume I will continue to offer my services to current mindees only, with my main aim to re-settle the children in my setting and let my own children to readjust to having minded children in the house again.

And just like that the summer holidays are over and it’s back to school!

Lunch at the Sun Dancer and plenty drinks and snacks in the picnic bag.

I learnt this last weekend, also remember if you call 999 but can’t talk press 55 and police will be sent to your location, it may not be the service required but they will be trained in first aid and will be able to get appropriate help.
