Our German Day took us on a lovely adventure to Cumbernauld Glen! 🇩🇪🌿

Armed with our iPad picture-and-word hunt, we explored the woods looking for things we could name in German — from leaves and ferns to trees and berries. We also did our bit for the Glen with a litter pick, helping to keep this beautiful space clean for everyone to enjoy.

There was plenty of muddy, magical exploring too… and one of our wee ones got to wear her wellies for the very first time ever! 💚🥾

A wonderful day of language, learning, nature and teamwork.

What an amazing experience Ice Skating with the children today! First time skating for everyone, some as young as 1 year old! Kayleigh used to play ice hockey, so could teach them a few wee techniques on how to find their footing 🥰

✈️🌿 Big dreams start with little adventures... 🌿✈️

One of the things that makes Adventure Glen so special is that we love bringing the real world into children's learning. 💚

Many of you will already know my son, Rhuraidh, who has grown up surrounded by curiosity, adventure and a love of learning. Today, he's turning those passions into reality.

We're incredibly proud that Rhuraidh is currently training for his pilot's licence 🛩️ while also working as a Workshop Assistant and embarking on his Aircraft Engineering Degree from this September, gaining hands-on experience maintaining and learning about aircraft alongside experienced engineers. 🔧⚙️

Watching him pursue something he's dreamed about for years reminds me just how important it is to nurture children's interests from an early age. 🌟

That's why Adventure Glen children will have the exciting opportunity to:

🛩️ Explore different types of aircraft up close
👨‍🔧 Learn how engineers help keep aircraft safe
🎧 See the equipment pilots use before take-off
