Did you know a catterpillar has more muscles in its body than we do. Their complex and unique undulating motion requires an incredible amount of muscles!

For our final week before the Summer Break we are going to be getting lost in the world of Weird Science.

Science is all around us and some of it's very strange indeed!

Did you know the world is covered in something called 'tectonic plates'?
These are like the skin of the Earth, like big jigsaw pieces floating around and where two tectonic plates meet, a volcano can occur!

This week we are diving into the exciting and explosive world of volcanoes. We can show you how to make your own volcanoes at home!

Did you know that diamonds are the hardest crystal?
They can be used to cut glass & other crystals. When we polish crystals & cut them - they can become gemstones & be used in jewellery.

This week we're looking into the magical world of crystals. We will be doing some classification and maybe even seeing if we can make some crystals of our own!!

Did you know the magnetic North & South pole are near, but not in exact the same place as the Geographical North & South Poles?

How many magnetic things can you find at home?

Our Mini Professors Franchise runs an educational programme for children from the ages of 2 to 11 years old. Allowing franchisees to inspire children through children’s science programmes in nursery and school settings. In addition, franchisees can earn extra income through after-school education programs, including after-school clubs, parties, and holiday camps.

The 72 base lesson plans range from, dinosaurs, volcanoes, plants, space, polymers and lots more. All of the topics come with easy-to-follow experiments, fun videos and books to read as well as a detailed introduction to follow so no topic is too daunting even for those whot are not scientifically trained.
