October so far at Pre School - we have been busy in the farm shop, planting spring bulbs, talking about harvest, cooking and playing in the mud kitchen. Next week we are going to be baking, setting up a bakery role play area and doing lots of movement and exercise!

🌿🚜 Donations Needed for Preschool Play & Sensory Activities 🚜🌿

We are looking for a few donations to help enhance our children's learning and play experiences!

For our Farm Shop Role Play Area, we would love any clean food packaging such as: Empty food boxes, cereal boxes, juice cartons, fruit and vegetable punnets, egg boxes etc

For our Autumn Sensory Trays, we are collecting: Dry leaves, conkers and pine cones

If you have any of these items spare, please bring them along to preschool. The children love exploring real-life resources and your donations make a huge difference.

Thank you for your support! 💛🍁

🌟 You're Invited to Our Preschool AGM! 🌟

Did you know that without a committee, our preschool cannot remain open?

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a great opportunity to meet other parents, learn more about what happens behind the scenes, and have your say in the future of our preschool.

Whether you can offer a little time or a lot, every contribution makes a difference. Joining the committee is a rewarding way to support your child's preschool experience and help ensure we can continue providing a wonderful environment for all our children.

The meeting is held online on Monday 28th September at 7.30pm.

Please contact us for the link.

We would love to see as many parents as possible there!

This week we are learning all about jobs and people that help us. We asked the children what their parents did and what they would like to be when they grow up - we had lots of answers from doctors, looking after dogs, cooking, teacher, firefighter and dinosaurs (in particular a T-Rex!!).

If anyone is available to come in and have a chat with the children about their jobs we would love to see you - give the office a call or email in. We are covering this for the next 2 weeks.

This afternoon Pre School hosted Mandy’s retirement party. It was so lovely to see lots of old faces from the 31 years Mandy has been involved with the pre School - from parent, committee member, Admin Manager and Grandparent. She has dedicated those years to making the Pre School the success it is today. We hope that she has a fantastic, well deserved retirement and we look forward to hearing all about her new adventures! The staff have a day out planned for her as well next weekend!
