The PTFA is a great way of getting to know other families and school staff whilst making a real contribution to the quality of school life for all. Every parent and teacher is automatically a member of St Andrew’s PTFA. Whilst fund-raising is a major part of any PTFA’s activities and directly contributes to the improvement of the school, there’s a lot more to it than that. Andrew’s PTFA provides a

great way to build the whole school community, including links with the local area, all of which benefits the school and our children. You're continued support is very much appreciated, no matter how small. Registered Charity No. 1027360

Social Media Policy
This page is open to all parents, teacher and families of St Andrew's Primary School, Cullompton. It is to be used for discussing fundraising, social events and meetings connected to the PTFA. Please use the page in a positive manner. This is a moderated page and the PTFA reserves the right to remove any posting. We have created a simple list of do’s and don’ts to help you use this resource correctly. Please do the following:

• Use good judgment - Regardless of your privacy settings, assume that all of the information you have shared on your facebook is public information.
• Be respectful - You cannot see a smile or understand nuances of speech on social media. Please keep the tone of discussion positive and respectful.
• Be responsible and ethical - Unless you are specifically authorised to speak on behalf of the school as a spokesperson, you should state that the views expressed in your postings, etc. Any issue or concerns you have with the school should be raised directly
• Correct any mistakes- Be sure to correct any mistake you make immediately, and make it clear what you’ve done to fix it. Don’t share the following:

• Confidential information - If it seems confidential, it probably is. Online “conversations” are never private.
• Private and personal information - To ensure your safety, be careful about the type and amount of personal information you provide. Avoid talking about personal schedules or situations. NEVER give out or transmit personal information of students, parents, or colleagues. Always respect the privacy of the school community members.
• Images - It is not acceptable to post pictures of students. They will be removed if posted and you will be blocked.
• Other sites - Link to other sites may provide useful and interesting content. Don’t blindly repost a link without looking at the content first you never know what could be there! Posts will be removed if they are:
• pictures of students. They will be removed and you will be blocked
• personal attacks (posts deemed libellous, profane, defamatory, disparaging, hateful, harassing, threatening, or obscene)
• break the law
• fraudulent, deceptive or misleading

We are looking forward to welcoming those with tickets to the disco tomorrow night! We have a hot weather plan agreed with the school and at this time we are all set to go ahead!

As always: if your child has a ticket but is unable to attend tomorrow night we will make sure their goodie bag will be available to collect from school next week.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our first Spring Fayre such a fabulous event! From the helpers, the staff, the choir and dance group, the companies who donated prizes and of course all the families who attended and brought tickets for our raffle - we are truly thankful for the wonderful community who supported this event.
Once the total is counted we will let
you know how much has been raised, so keep eyes on our page!!
