🤯Thousands of marks were lost in the 2025 GCSE Maths exams on the following topics .

The examiner report highlighted these 5 topics as some of the worst answered , so if you really want to outperform your peers and get those top grades these topics are a great starting point.

✨Bonus Tip: never rely solely on exam marks when practicing past papers. Grade boundaries change according to how students perform. Many students were disappointed in 2025 when grade boundaries were higher than previous years. That’s why focusing on continuous improvement and learning is super important when preparing for your GCSE exams.

I teach all of these topics and more in my 12 week self paced programme. Comment or DM me ‘yes’ for more info.

I wish I could remember every life-changing advice I hear or read to refer back to, but it often feels like it fades away. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Instead of journaling it all, I’m making a commitment to share what I learn from books, podcasts, and educational content here, hoping it might help you too.

✨That way, both of us can revisit these lessons when motivation is low or worries creep in.

I hope it helps !
🧿Wishing you a wonderful day!

It’s the new year so you may already be bored of hearing about New Years Resolutions .

So, rather than giving you a new goal to set , I’m going to share with you an ESSENTIAL skill that if practiced regularly will have a huge impact on the quality of your revision .

✨
✨
✨
✨
Active Recall
✨
✨

What is ‘Active Recall’?

We spend so much time consuming content thinking that we have absorbed the information,
to later realise we can’t even remember what we watched or read.

That’s why ,if you want to learn new information ‘active recall’ is so important.

⭐️When you are watching educational content - pause the screen and attempt the question yourself .

⭐️Take notes,
⭐️challenge yourself ,
⭐️use flashcards,
⭐️practice questions,
⭐️explain concepts aloud
⭐️ self-quizzing

We learn best by challenging ourselves- give yourself an opportunity to struggle before going straight to AI.

Accessing support is at our fingertips more than ever , but if you can practice the habit of giving yourself the grace to struggle before you go straight to an answer , you will reap the rewards in the long run.
