Sidcop Nursery Established in 1995, we provide Outstanding education to all children aged 0-5 years.

Sidcop Nursery believe all children are individual and will reach their potential in a warm and inviting environment. We will help your children to develop their skills early, learning through play and age appropriate activities and experiences in a safe place.

We hope that everyone is enjoying the last week of the summer holidays!

As we prepare for the start of the new term, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back, along with all of our new starters starting their journey with us!

Please see important information for all of our children and families below.

⭐Nursery reopens for all the children Wednesday 2nd September.
(This is dependent on the days that your child attends.

⭐ Morning Drop off times are 08:00 - 08:10 at the green side gate or 09:00-09:10.

Afternoon Drop off 1:00-1:10pm

Staff will be ready and waiting to support all the children back into nursery.

⭐ Collection / Pick up times 11:50-12:00, 12:50-1pm or 3:50-4pm.

It is extremely important that the above times are followed to allow all staff to be with the children at key times and ensure that there are no missed learning opportunities.

Staff are unable to leave the room outside of these times as we have to ensure we are meeting all the requirements set out by ofsted and meeting staff ratios while your children are in nursery.

Watch out for the pictures of the exciting activities we have planned for the children coming back into nursery.

Look at what we have been growing in the garden ……..
We planted the courgette planted a few weeks ago and the busy bees children have done amazing looking after it along with the tomato plants.
“We need to water it …. It will help it grow”
“ it looks like a cucumber “
Dionne then cooked the courgette and added it to our cottage pie for lunch.

The children really enjoy growing different vegetables in the garden and it’s a brilliant way to help the children learn all about the importance of healthy eating and trying new foods at the same time.

We did it Busy Bee’s - Sports Day 2026.

What an amazing morning we had. Our children have worked so had practising and we are so very proud of them all.

Thank you so much to all our families for supporting us it was an amazing turn out.

🏃‍♂️ Busy Bee Sports Day 🏃‍♀️

The temperatures are forecast to be lower on Monday so it’s looking like our sports day will go ahead.

If Monday is not your child’s usual session and you wish for them to take part, they should arrive at 9:00am so we can be ready for our sports day starting at 10.00am and collected from nursery after the event. Children need to be signed in and out.

Please ensure your child has appropriate footwear and clothing, sun hats and sun cream applied.

Once the races have finished all children will make their way back to nursery where you can collect your child.

This is very much weather dependant so if anything changes we may have to make a last minute decision as to how we proceed.

Keeping everything crossed that it will go ahead on Monday.

** Busy Bee Parents**

Our children have been practising really hard for our Sports Day however due to the weather forecast we have made the decision to cancel our Sports Day tomorrow morning. Temperatures are forecast to be higher and feel this is the best decision for all the children and staff.

We are hoping this can take place on Monday 13th July however this will still be subject to weather conditions. Keep an eye out for further updates.
