🌟 Meet More of Our Belfast Marathon Relay Stars! 🌟
🌟Mrs Dean🌟
Mrs Dean is a keen gym‑goer who loves staying active and taking her fitness outdoors with regular road runs. 🏃♀️💪
Her discipline is second to none — whether she’s training at the gym or using her home equipment, she always finds a way to keep moving. This year, she’s bringing that determination to the Belfast Marathon Relay, proudly supporting our school’s fundraising efforts. 💛
She’s really looking forward to completing her leg of the race… and who knows — this might just be the spark that inspires her to take on the full Belfast Marathon next year. After all, she’s no stranger to big challenges — she even tackled the Dublin Marathon twenty years ago!
🌟Mrs McCann 🌟
Mrs McCann's running journey began in 2012 with simple laps of a local football pitch, quickly growing into a passion with her local running club. Since then, she has completed several half marathons, including Belfast, Omagh and the Great North Run, proudly supporting the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. Now a regular at Portglenone Forest Parkrun, Mrs McCann is delighted to be part of Team St. Joseph’s — and as long as there’s running and chatting involved, she’ll keep doing both for a great cause!
🌟Mr Traynor🌟
Mr Traynor took up running 10 years ago through a Couch to 5K programme with the former Moneyglass and District Running Club and hasn’t stopped since. With a focus on getting the miles done rather than the time, he has progressed from 5K to 10K and a number of half marathons. To mark a decade of running, he’ll be taking on the Belfast Half Marathon again this September. Pictured at one of his favourite races, the Derry City 10 Mile — where the medal is always worth the effort!
Go on you three — we’re all behind you! 🙌✨
