Hi all, applications are open for all children now for September.
Any child wanting a space with us in September or at any point going forward we ask that you complete our enquiry form using the link below.

🌟 From September, Flying Start Childcare will be available to eligible 2-year-olds across the whole of Caerphilly County Borough—regardless of postcode!

💫 Children can receive 2.5 hours of funded childcare per day, five days a week during term time.

✅ Apply early to allow enough time for your application to be processed before the September term.

If you live in a Flying Start area your child is entitled to funded quality childcare for 2 and a half hours per day, 5 days a week for 39 weeks for the term following the child’s second birthday up to to the term they turn three and take up their early years education place.

We’ve had a busy few weeks at rising stars, embracing all things spring, including our unpredictable weather, we’ve toyed with wellies some days and suncream others. ☔️ ☀️

We’ve been a little quiet on here but hope you’ve enjoyed our seesaws 📷

We’ve had so much fun following our children’s leads by making our own obstacle courses, playing hide and seek with toys, investigating floating and sinking, as well as exploring our emotions, lots of messy play (Sorry M**s & Dads!) & lots more!

Just a little reminder, Crumlin High Level Nursery are holding an open day tomorrow ( Thursday 29th January 1-2pm )

I will also be there to talk to any new parents for September 2026 who require wraparound (11:30-3) Monday-Friday.
