Wonderful lunch today to mark Refugee Week at Vineyard English School

Huge thanks to Bluetouch for organising, to Leyla Fey for a fantastic violin performance, and to Danny & Sherry for cooking such superb food. It was also brilliant to have representatives with us from Migrant Help and Reedham Children's Trust, alongside additional dishes from the wonderful Good Food Matters Charity.

Brilliant atmosphere in the room - full of conversation, music, food and friendship. It was lovely to break bread together!

Half term photo drop 💛

As we close out a great (and full!) half term, we look forward to a week’s break - and we’re super grateful for all that’s already been happening at Vineyard English School in 2026.

✨ VES Christmas Celebration ✨

A fantastic way to finish the term at Vineyard English School! It was wonderful to welcome over 150 students, children, volunteers, and friends across the morning for our VES Christmas Celebration yesterday at the ACH!

We’re very grateful to the Good Food Matters Charity for another excellent hot lunch! It was a joy to see VES Kids on the bouncy castle, and we’re thankful to Gereltsetseg for her beautiful flute performance. Thanks as always to Ian & Adil from Bluetouch, and to Migrant Help and Unique Support for sponsoring the day.

We’re growing 🎉

From tomorrow, VES is expanding to FOUR mornings every week so we can welcome even more amazing students, create smaller groups, and make classes even better for everyone. We can’t wait! 🙌

Here’s the brand-new timetable now starting:

🟦 Beginners Groups (Pre-A1, A1, A2)
➡ Mondays & Wednesdays
🕥 10:30–12:00
👶 Creche on Mondays only
✨ FIRST BEGINNERS-ONLY MORNING: TOMORROW – Wednesday 19th November!

🟩 Higher Level Groups (B1, B2, C1)

📣 Vineyard English School – Half Term Update

It has been a fantastic first half of term at Vineyard English School (VES). Our community has grown rapidly this half term! It's been amazing to see such commitment to learning and mutual support across so many cultures and backgrounds.

A huge thank you to our incredible team of volunteers and teachers who make VES possible every week. Their dedication is at the heart of everything we do.

📆 Half Term Break

VES is now on half term break for the next two weeks.
Classes will restart on Monday 3rd November with our normal timetable.

🚧 Facilitating Growth

Due to increased demand and full classes, we are actively exploring ways of facilitating more growth. More information will be shared soon.

Wonderful start to the second week of term at Vineyard English School today 💥
