How lucky are we to have had these beautiful baby birds using our garden tree as their home. We get to see nature this close up and the children loved watching them 🐦

We made an incredible £181 yesterday in our collection for The Daisy Garland charity. Big thank you to everyone who donated and brought cakes.

On Wednesday we was lucky enough to have a visit from the local police in aid of our people who help us topic. The children had lots of fun in the police car, trying on hats and riot gear and hearing the sirens 👮‍♀️🚓

This month we are learning about ‘people who help us’ and we was lucky enough ot have a visit from one of our lovely parents Katie who is a vet. She brought some props for the children to play with and practice bandaging wounds, spoke about the different animals she helps and also brough 2 guinea pigs for the children to have a look at. Thank you Katie we had a great time 😊

This week in Butterflies and Sunflowers we have been looking at the traditional tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Today we made our very own yummy scrummy porridge 🐻🥣

What a delicious Christmas Lunch we had at nursery today. Thank you Tom and your sous chef Lauren you both did an amazing job🎄🍽️

What a fabulous time we had at our Christmas event last week. A big thank you to all who came. We hope you had as much fun as we did with the grotto, handmade games, making tree decorations, hot chocolate and mulled wine 🎄🎅🏻

Lots of fun was had at nursery today for Children in Need. Hat making, colouring, painting, biscuit decorating, playdough and of course, we wore spots and fancy dress!

The children have been exploring “People that help us’. They are currently our role play Doctors surgery and already seem to have some skills in bandaging!

This morning our Butterlies children visited All Saints Church in Sanderstead. They laid a beautiful poppy wreath that they made on the War Memorial.

All the children in Pre-School have been busy making beautiful handprint Poppies to remember the soldiers who kept our country and families safe during the war.

This Month we are celebrating Black History month in pre-school. We are looking at inventors such as Garett Morgan and how he made the very first traffic lights 🚦

Tom made a lovely homemade strawberry jam roly-poly this week and the children thoroughly enjoyed it 🍓

Yesterday the children enjoyed picking some of our home grown tomatoes, and trying them at tea time 🍅

Today we are celebrating being open for 6 years! Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Happy Birthday to us 🥳

Pre-school have been enjoying the sunshine this week whilst in the garden, practicing their numbers and balancing skills ☀️🔢

The children enjoyed a lovely walk in the rain today to collect some leaves and create patterns with their leaf printing activity. We also found a caterpillar which one of the children described as ‘looking like a stick and moving like a hoover’ 🐛😂.

Another beautiful day for our children who graduated nursery yesterday.
We wish all our graduates the best of luck in their new schools and hopes it prepares them well for their future careers as footballers, princesses, teachers, policemen, monster truck drivers and so much more.

We will miss you all 😘🎉🎓

Today our friend Paula came to visit and read a few of her favourite stories to the children 📚 we look forward to another story time with you again soon.
