It's a brand new week and I'm so excited.
We start our 5 day Holy Convocation this week and I cannot wait for God to show up and speak through all the dynamic ministers who are joining us.
My church is hosting this event, so I am preparing myself to be a good manager, by serving others with the gifts of love, joy, peace, encouragement and hospitality.
I won't be sitting around waiting to be served!
What will you be prioritising this week?
“Each of you as a good manager must use the gift that God has given you to serve others.” 1 Peter 4:10 (GW)

1 John 2:17 NIV
[17] The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

As we think about our purpose we must always consider our motives.
Here are a few questions that might be helpful.
Have I chosen this because it will impress significant people in my life? (The 'others')
Is my motivation to do the will of my Father in heaven who created me?
It's a debate about the world and its desires versus the will of God.
I love helping clients reflect on this. It brings small rays of sunshine, peace and joy as they discover their unique purpose and become a true blessing to others.
Have a blessed week ❤️

Thought for the week
REST
Rest isn't always about sleeping or doing nothing
REST
REST isn't always about sipping cocktails on the beach
REST for busy Christian women who are mothers, grandmothers, wives, sisters, daughters, friends, ministers... can only be found in Christ
REST and REFRESH your weary, distracted, weak, frustrated souls in Him.
But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again—ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal life." - Jesus (from John 4:14 HCSB)

Ti's the season to be jolly!
When does yours begin, or have you started already?
Make some time to leave the everyday stuff behind and go out with your husband, ladies.
It's never ever too late 🥳

“No amount of reading, praying, singing, studying, or attending meetings and church services will ever supplant quietness and solitude before God.
Simply try to find a solitary place today where you can stand, sit, or walk before God and be quiet.”
Elisabeth Elliot
When last have you gifted yourself with silence and solitude?

Did you watch it?
Did you see the game?
ENGLAND WON!!!!
I am so thrilled.
YAY!
WOO HOO!
I'm ecstatic for a number of reasons which I'll share a few with you.
1. We need to remember what it feels like to be excited about life again.
2. It's great to just let go and be in the moment, without worrying about anything else.
3. Celebrate as often as possible as many things as possible!
4. Let your joy be contagious. It will energise those around you, in a fabulous way.
5. It's such a simple and effective way to release happy hormones and make your day amazing.
So celebrate the win for England as if it was your own biggest personal win.
I'll share a secret with you as well today.
I am absoluteky passionate about celebrating wins no matter how small you think they are.
Celebrate the juice out of it!! .
I spend a lot of time in coaching conversations doing this and my clients often find it the hardest thing to do.
That's why I'm encouraging you to celebrate today
Celebrate for England
Celebrate for yourself too.
If this gives you chest pains.
If you know that celebrating your success challenges you and blocks you from moving forward then book a free Discovery call with me.

Can you believe it??
July has arrived and with it- the second half of the year.
Drumroll please!!
I've got a few questions for you...
1. Have you got lost track of any of the goals you set yourself in January?
2. Have you put some of your dreams on hold?
3. Maybe you just weren't ready to make any grand plans back then but you are ready now.
I can totally relate to 2 and 3.
How about you?
As lockdown is lifting in London, I feel much more energised and optimistic about life.
I've already started on one of my goals and I can't even tell you how excited I am about it.
I wish I'd started this sooner!
I absolutely love supporting female leaders at work, home or in ministry to spend quality time making themselves a priority so that they can discover their purpose and live life fully.
I partner with them to reduce the confusion, overcome limiting beliefs and increase clarity, courage and confidence.
Does this sound like you?
Are you ready to make yourself a priority and get to know you a bit more?
I have to say that it's the very best gift that you can give yourself.
Haven't you been trying to do this on your own for a very long time?
Haven't you been putting
this personal project off for a while?
Maybe years?
Just like me!
🔹️ I kept waiting and waiting.
🔹️ I kept putting other projects and people in front of my goal.
🔹️ I kept thinking that I wasn't ready yet.
Until finally I am so glad to say, that I made that call and signed up to do my first training to become a life coach.
I haven't looked back since.
Let me ask you now...
What dreams have you been putting off?
What will you START this July?
Comment with a ❤ and let me know your what's been holding you back from achieving your goals.

I remember being shocked and dismayed as I faced redundancy from my job. This would be the third redundancy from a job and it made me start to wonder what was going on.
I met my dearest friend, Amanda Brown, in a coffee shop where we tried to understand what it all meant and to figure out what God was saying.
With time, lots of prayers and many conversations with my friend, we seemed to sense that God was calling us out on a new adventure.
This adventure combined two things that we both loved doing -
1. Encouraging Christian women,
2. Travelling to locations with beautiful ocean views
So, we began the Be Still Sisters Retreats, where busy, exhausted Christian women who were feeling lost and disconnected could come together to experience the refreshing presence of the Lord.
It was such a joy to see women return home with a renewed sense of purpose, a revived passion for the Lord and confidence to be who God had called them to be.
During the pandemic, I felt the Lord nudging me again to do 'something else' but this time, I knew exactly what it was. I stepped out in faith and invested in a class to develop my coaching skills.
It was one thing to see women's lives changed from attending the retreats but it was quite another thing to support them to maintain this new relationship with God.
I am so excited to be able to work with women to help them to take a bigger pause, where they can process the work that God has started in their lives.
That's what I call the coaching conversation - THE BIG PAUSE!
It's where the magic continues to bring transformation in their lives.
It's where they can take their own personal time to process their thoughts and align their actions in the direction that God is leading them.
It's where their faith hits the road and lines up with their works.
I absolutely love running the Be Still Sisters Retreats and cannot wait for the next one in 2022.
I am so thrilled to be able to partner with women to support them to discover all that God has called them to be.
That's a bit about how and why I do what I do!
How about you?
What's your story?
I would love to hear a bit about you in the comments.
And one more thing...
While I have a Christian world view and mention Christian women a lot, I do coach non-Christian women as well!

I always have to remember to doubt the doubt and trust in the abilities that I have!
I have to remind myself when I'm learning something new.
I have to remind myself again when I'm doing something I have never done before.
Why are we so ready to believe the negative thoughts that enter our minds?
It just intrigues me and it's more common than you realise, that you believe certain thoughts that are neither true nor real.
I'm too old for this
I'm too short/fat/thin
I'm under/over qualified.
I don't have enough time
You get the idea!!
These negative thoughts cause you to stay stuck in certain cycles of behaviours, that no matter how hard you try, you can't seem to get past them.
It's a very real struggle and you may find, after trying for many, many months and years, that you cannot break out of it on your own.
If this sounds like something that you recognise in yourself, then don't be disheartened.
You are not facing anything strange.
You are in good company.
As I shared earlier, I too have to deal with my doubts.
The most important thing is to get some support that will guide you through the fog of doubt and uncertainty.
It is possible.
It is available
I'm here for you, if you are ready to do the work to bring growth and change to your life.
Book a call or message me directly for one.
I'd love to hear what's on your heart
