We will sing songs and share stories aimed at families with children aged 5 and under. This activity is delivered in partnership with Croydon Libraries and is offered free of charge. Castle Day Nursery is looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive team.
📍 Location: South Croydon
📅 Start Date: April
⏰ Hours: Part-time | Term-time only
💷 Pay: £13 per hour (competitive)
👶 About the Role
You will support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
You’ll work as part of a caring team, build positive relationships with children and parents, and contribute to high-quality early years practice.
✅ Requirements
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Ability to meet Ofsted suitability requirements
• Physically fit and able to assist with daily setting up and packing away of equipment, as the nursery operates from a hall
