Our Year 8 Leavers had a fantastic trip to Horseshoe Lake, enjoying paddleboarding, raft building and a range of water activities as they made the most of the sunshine and beat the heat. It was a brilliant day filled with teamwork, laughter and memorable moments to celebrate the end of their time with us.

🌟Huge congratulations to our ISGA stars on a fantastic set of results!⛳

Freddie and Carlos claimed victory in the ISGA Junior Salver team competition with a brilliant performance, and Carlos went on to secure the Junior Salver individual title as well, an outstanding achievement.

A big well done also to Lucas for finishing as runner up in the ISGA Junior Stableford, rounding off a superb showing all round.

Proud of all three for their effort, skill and sportsmanship. 👏🏆

To beat the heat Year 6 took their P&R learning outdoors today. They worked collaboratively to create these incredible nature mandalas to celebrate peace and interconnectedness, before ending the lesson with a tranquil stillness exercise. A perfect, calm way to lower the temperature at the end of a busy term! 🌸🍁

Independent Schools Ski Championships - The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead.

Wellington College Prep fielded their largest ever team at the Independent Schools Ski Championships at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead today. All pupils performed exceptionally well in a high‑calibre field featuring many of the strongest Prep School ski racers in the country. After a short practice session, competitors completed two timed runs on a tight slalom course, with their fastest run counting for their placing.

Special mention goes to Guy O, who achieved an impressive 3rd place in the U14 boys, and Zara P, who skied brilliantly to secure 3rd place in the U14 girls. Zara H and Theo B also delivered excellent performances, both finishing in the top five in the highly competitive U12 age group. With all the hot weather around it was the perfect day to be in 'The Fridge' as the Snow Centre is nicknamed.
We are excited to see the continued development of the Welly Prep Ski Race Team from September.

What a fantastic Golden Eagle Week we had!

Our students threw themselves into every challenge with energy, creativity, and teamwork. From exciting activities to moments of laughter and new discoveries, the week was filled with fun and unforgettable experiences. Most importantly, it was a celebration of friendship, resilience, and the incredible spirit of our school community.

🌟 Golden Eagle Week is almost here! 🌟

We are so excited and counting down the hours to our residential week packed full of fun, adventure, challenges and unforgettable memories. From trying new activities to building friendships and confidence, it is set to be an incredible experience for everyone involved.

While we are away, we know how much you enjoy seeing what your children are getting up to. We will do our very best to share updates during the week, including some photos, but please understand that getting images back is not always straightforward when we are off site and on the go. This means updates may not happen every day, but rest assured your children will be having an amazing time!
Once we return, we will upload all the photos from our fantastic week to the portal, and we will also share some of the very best highlights on social media for you to enjoy.

It’s almost showtime, and the excitement is building!

The cast of Singin’ in the Rain have been loving every moment of bringing this iconic musical to life, from the big, joyful numbers to the energy and laughter shared together on stage.
Off stage, it’s just as memorable, with quick changes, backstage giggles and plenty of chaotic, joyful moments along the way. But nothing beats sharing it all with an audience. “We can’t wait for people to see it,” they say. “It’s joyful, energetic, and a real celebration of theatre.”
