The Ark Pre-school, Crowthorne Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Pre-School for 2 years to school age. Two days a week Fun in the Forest.

Based behind Crowthorne High Street, we open 5 mornings a week (Mon - Fri) to provide a childcare setting between 9.15am - 12.15am. We provide activities such as outdoor play, messy play, role play, story time, music time as well as enjoying a snack together. We ensure that the children have a fun time in a safe and secure environment. We help children to develop social skills, allowing them creat

ivity, problem solving, assisting their grasp on literacy and communication skills and gaining an understanding and knowledge of the world. We also sometimes go for trips off-site to further expand your child's experiences. We apply for government funding from a child's third birthday, but any parents seeking extra hours to their fundingm or prior to funding eligibility, are invoiced half-termly on a fee per session. Please pop in and see us to have a look around, or pick up a prospectus or application form.

The children were very happy to be back in the forest this week for our Fun in the Forest sessions! There were plenty of muddy puddles to explore! They enjoyed splashing, squelching, climbing, singing songs and playing games all in the great outdoors! 🌲

We have been loving the Autumn sunshine on our forest days out and about exploring the Wellington grounds! The children have enjoyed playing in the leaves, exploring bracken and finding conkers, acorns and bugs amongst it all! The older children have also been learning practical skills with equipment such as small handsaws to cut up wood they find in the forest. 🪱🐞🐌🕸🍂🍁☀️
