Welcome to the new school term at Edgbarrow! A huge welcome to our new students and their families, and to all those returning. We hope everyone enjoyed their summer. We're so pleased to see you all back, and we hope that the start of term goes well for everyone.

We look forward to welcoming all students back to school tomorrow, Thursday 3rd September. Please note arrival times and meeting points below by year group:
Year 7 - 8.40am. Meet in Main Hall.
Year 8 - 12.35pm. Meet in the Year 8 area.
Year 9 - 12.35pm. Meet in the playground near the basketball area.
Year 10 - 12.35pm. Meet at the Science end of Humanities.
Year 11 - 12.35pm. Meet at History end of Humanities.
Year 12 (new students joining SF) - 9.15am. Meet in the Atrium.
Year 12 (Edgbarrow students) - 9.40am. Meet in the Atrium.
Year 13 - work online - join the online meeting at 10am with Mrs Hume.
Students will be with their year teams to start the day, with normal timetable lessons beginning in period 5, Week A.
On Friday 4th September school starts for all students at 8.45am.

Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students on their GCSE and Vocational results. These results reflect their hard work and dedication and will open doors to fantastic futures.

82% achieved a 4+ in both English and maths, with 63% at grade 5. Within these results, we have some top academic performances with students achieving all 8s/9s, along with a large number who made huge progress from their starting point. We are extremely proud of them all.

The students have been brilliant; we have loved working with them! I would also like to thank our fantastic staff and wonderful families; they have provided endless care, support and guidance. We wish the students every success and happiness as they move on to their next adventure.
