We are a small, friendly, non-profit making group run by a Committee of parents and registered as a charity. We have adopted the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA) Con
stitution and are insured through them. The pre-school is inspected by OFSTED, who regularly check our facilities and allow us to take a maximum of eighteen children at any one time. We also take part in the Nursery Education Grant funding scheme. Ethos
Our aim is to enable your child to establish independence and confidence, and to prepare them for entering school. We provide a happy, relaxed environment, in which development of physical, mental and social skills is encouraged, through purposeful and interesting play. Pre-School Sessions
We operate with the school academic year: September to July Monday to Thursday 9 am to 3 pm and Friday 9 am to 1 pm. This gives your child the opportunity to attend the following sessions: 9 am to 12 pm, 9 am to 1 pm**, 12 pm to 3 pm** or 9 am to 3 pm **. This page is used by the Committee of St John's Pre-School to keep families with children attending our pre-school up to date with news and information. The Committee will not publish photos or mention names of children / staff / committee members on this page. This page is routinely monitored by our Committee.
