I can confirm that we have emailed the winner of the feedback survey from open evening, and so congratulations to one hopefully future parent who has won a significant contribution to a new Y7 uniform.
Also we will be in touch before half term with Trinity St Michaels, Parbold Douglas and Hoole St Michaels to share the names of the Amazon voucher winners, again from our open evening competition.
Thanks everyone for participating!

This week in Learning for Life, Year 7 enjoyed an exciting performance of Streetwise, bringing vital road and pedestrian safety messages to life. Students also learned about e-scooter and e-bike safety, including the laws surrounding their use on UK roads, helping them stay safe and informed both now and in the future.

Today the year 11 engineering group visited the Hope technology factory in Barnoldswick.

They had a fantastic time touring the facilities which include state of the art CNC machining, carbon fibre workshops and research and development CAD studios. The students got to see how bike parts are designed and built all in house by a specialist team. Some of the bikes built by Hope have been ridden by the British Olympic team including Sir Chris Hoy. It was a pleasure to see the students so engaged and asking questions and they were all brilliant ambassadors for the school.
