🎉 Celebrating One of the Best 🎉

Today we had a special Retirement Celebration to mark the end of our vice-principal’s, Miss Creighton’s, time in Crossgar and Glasswater PS. Through songs, poems, music and games, the pupils shared how much they appreciate all that she has done for them and that they will miss her greatly when she leaves on Tuesday to begin her retirement.

Lissara Presbyterian Church hall was full of pupils, parents and staff (both past and present) which is testament to the impact that Miss Creighton has had in our community over the last 27 years. Truly dedicated to her job, always putting the children first and encouraging and inspiring her colleagues. A lady worth celebrating!

All the Glasswater family wish you a very happy retirement Miss Creighton.

🍔 Year 7 Leavers BBQ 🍔

What a day! Our Year 7s had a blast with their classmates and friends in the glorious sunshine. Bouncy castle fun, teaching each other how to tie a tie, delicious food and treats, cooling off under the sprinkler and the group photo challenge! A day filled with smiles and chatter and music and laughter!

Thanks so much to the PTA and parent team who organised, provided and prepared all the food for the pupils and staff to enjoy. Your contributions are very much appreciated.

P5/6 were out and about today helping to keep our village looking its best, joined by some of our fantastic Eco Committee members.
A huge thank you to Declan from Crossgar Community Associationfor organising the session and providing the litter pickers and bags. Your support makes such a difference.
Our pupils loved doing their bit for the environment and our local community and enjoyed a well‑earned play at the playpark afterwards. Great teamwork and great community spirit. 💚♻️
