While we've been away resting, we've had some very special work completed...

Just before half term, the children took part in a competition to design the best tree stump, following on from the work to clean and clear Daisies' outdoor area.

Congratulations to Freddie, his design is beautiful and well thought out and leaves a true legacy.

We had a wonderful World Book Day!

The children had an option to dress as a book character or to embrace an adjective and dress accordingly.

We celebrated the day with shared reading across the classes, WBD Blookets and themed role play activity baskets of some of our favourite tales. We even held a competition for best dressed! 📚📖💓

We've had a very productive, second week back in both classes!

Daisies have been showing off their amazing maths skills; from reception looking at the numbers 6,7 and 8 all the way to year 3 who have been exploring area using multilink cubes. And of course it wouldn't be Daisies without lots of singing along the way! 🎶

Sunflowers took to the outdoors on Wednesday and some of our older children used tools to safely cut back foliage in our allotment. They were also vigilant not to snip any sleeping plants. Meanwhile in small groups the rest of the children cultivated the raised beds ready for planting... 🌱
