We are incredibly proud of our students on their fantastic GCSE results. Their hard work, resilience and determination have truly paid off, and today we celebrate all they have achieved.

We were delighted to celebrate the Blessing Ceremony of our Cardinal Newman Inclusion Centre, marking an important milestone in our commitment to ensuring every member of our community feels welcomed, valued, and supported.
A special congratulations to Jacob, who won our competition to design the Inclusion Centre's new logo. We are incredibly proud of his creativity and look forward to seeing his design represent this wonderful space for years to come. 🎨👏

We are so proud of the great start our Year 10 pupils have made to their work experience! They really have thrown themselves into their experiences! From working with children, to using old Fire Extinguishers to learn how to properly put a fire out, they really are covering all bases!

We are also really appreciative to our partner primaries for hosting so many of our pupils. They have had a wonderful time so far and the younger pupils have really responded well to them! Well done!

Whilst we are still basking in the glow of our wonderful Year 11 Prom this week, we are also reminiscing about their leavers' event. Year 11 spent their last day attending their Leavers' Mass and their shirt signing event. They enjoyed food and drink, signing each others shirts and saying goodbye, and got to watch a montage of their time in Sacred Heart. Both staff and students struggled to keep a dry eye! We wish all of our Year 11 students the best of luck on the next steps of their journeys!

Yesterday, two of our Year 8 students, Oscar and Chenitha, attended the Liverpool Archdiocese Public Speaking Competition. The competition this year was tough and both boys represented our school spectacularly well, each receiving certificates at the end. Both produced powerful speeches on different topics, and delivered them incredibly well. Well done!

On Tuesday, some members of our Chaplaincy group visited Warren Park Care Home after an invitation from the staff there. We last went just before Christmas, and the students made such a good impression that the residents wanted them to come back! We hosted a few games of bingo, presented the residents with an afternoon tea, and even performed a poem written especially for the residents of Warren House!
