Year 4 activated their geography learning by going for a walk around the local area. We were looking for examples of human and physical geographical features.

Year 6 enjoyed their first PE lesson of the year. Our ‘evade invade capture’ unit has an important focus upon movement skills. We think about how we can use evading and invading skills to find space, retrieve objects and score points. Today we played Corner Tag and Cross the Waterhole, each requiring us to successfully evade our teammate in the centre.

🏆⚽ School World Cup Champions 2026! ⚽🏆

A huge congratulations to Algeria on being crowned our School World Cup Champions! What a fantastic achievement after an exciting tournament filled with teamwork, determination and brilliant football.

A massive well done also goes to our worthy runners-up, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿, who played with incredible spirit and made for a thrilling final.

Thank you to all of the children who took part throughout the competition. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship and support for one another made the tournament such a success.

A special thank you to all of the staff who helped organise, referee and support the event - it simply wouldn't have happened without you. A huge shout-out to our fantastic Year 6 commentator, who did a sterling job keeping everyone entertained with expert commentary throughout the matches! 🎙️👏
