Ardvreck School Ardvreck is an exceptional, independent day and boarding school for children aged 3-13.

Named 'Best Prep School in the Land' by Tatler 2025 and 'Independent Prep School of the Year' 2022, Ardvreck School is an exceptional Prep School in Perthshire known for their academic & adventurous approach to education. Known for its sense of adventure and creativity, Ardvreck School is surrounded by breathtaking Perthshire countryside. All visitors gasp at the awe-inspiring views of doorstep Munros as they make their way up the school’s sweeping drive. Their attention is soon diverted to the even more thrilling spectacle of laughing, be-kilted and wellied children hanging out of trees, hiding in Dens or building dams in the burn which flows down the Headmistress’ lawn. This is most definitely the school every grown-up wishes they had attended as a child. It’s where kindness, courtesy and good manners are at the forefront of every human interaction. It’s where academia and adventure are of equal importance and where good humour and fun permeate every undertaking. It will come as no surprise, that Head Teachers from senior schools all over the UK are very keen to enlist Ardvreck pupils, including Eton and St Mary’s, Ascot. In 2021, Ardvreck School opened a new, specially designed Nursery school within its campus of over 40 stunning acres. The child-focused Nursery building provides a unique educational space for up to 30 children, and is in partnership with Perth & Kinross Council to offer 1140 hours of funded early learning.

Our children had a fantastic time on their Senior Sports Tour to the north of England. The children visited Austin Friars on Friday afternoon before taking part in a brilliant triangular fixture alongside our fellow Sedbergh Schools Group members, Casterton, Sedbergh Preparatory School and Terrington Hall School.
The weekend was packed with exciting hockey and rugby fixtures, plenty of teamwork, great sporting spirit and lots of memorable moments!
A huge thank you to all schools involved for an experience our children will remember for a long time!
