There will be eight sports to try throughout the festival

Thanks to sportscotland’s Summer of Sport funding, you can slide into something new with our FREE Try Curling sessions at Dewars Centre! ❄️

Sessions from 8 October 2026 to 18 March 2027 are FREE to attend, with each person able to book up to TWO free sessions.

These fun, one-hour sessions are the perfect introduction to curling. Learn the basics, discover how the game works and experience sending a stone down the rink for yourself.

A free festival for women and girls with a disability is coming to Perth this October.

The Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Women and Girls in Sport Festival is a full day of sport, run by some of the best female coaches in the region.

📅 Sunday 11 October, 11am–4pm
📍 Academy of Sport & Wellbeing, UHI Perth

Athletics, karate, wheelchair sports, boccia, dance, fencing and more. Try as many as you like, meet local clubs, and hear from local athletes in a live Q&A.

Women and girls are still under-represented in sport across Perth and Kinross. This festival is about changing that, regardless if you're trying sport for the first time or getting back into it.

We're proud to support it through our Sport for Change grant scheme with The Gannochy Trust.

Open to all ages. Free to take part.
