EXCITING NEWS!
The wellbeing project is about to be launched! This concept has been in my head for years, and is finally being manifested in to our reality.
The wellbeing project is a place of love, laughter and learning. It’s a place where people can come together to connect - to themselves, to each other and back with mother earth. It’s a place where people can come and learn. They can learn anything they like – just ask! However, the specific emphasis will be around personal sovereignty, self responsibility and everything that will help them lead a happy, healthy life, as part of a loving and supportive community.
Initially, I will be offering 3 sessions a week for children. There are no age restrictions, but if a child is being left without their parent, then they will need to have sufficient maturity to not need full adult supervision (Please ask for further details). Parents are welcome to stay and soak up the energy of the land, or get actively involved.
Sessions will involve a mixture of structured learning (which will be child led so could go in any direction at any given time!), and free play. The three sessions will differ slightly as follows:
Tuesday 12 til 3: Universal and natural law, sovereignty and self responsibility. (£25 per child)
The structured part of the session will include looking at the principles of natural law, how it applies to us and how we can become self responsible beings and live and work in community with others.
Wednesday 10 til 12: The human condition – what makes us tick? (£15 per child)
The structured part of the session will look at how our brains and bodies work and how we can take full control of them to live a happy and healthy life. It will also look at general life skills and anything else that piques the children’s interests.
Thursday 12 til 3: How the world works (£25 per child)
This will be a STEM based practical session which will include science, building projects, gardening projects and generally understanding how the world (Especially the natural world) works, and how we can work in harmony with it.
All sessions are intended to help children grow and develop, and will therefore include elements of meditation, breathwork and other practical tools to help them take full control of their lives and their learning.
The sessions will be held on a piece of land situated between Cricklade and Minety. Its an open field with minimal facilities, in order to help connect us back to the land. Children will need to come equipped with food, drink and appropriate clothing for the weather.
I have worked with children for over 20 years, in pretty much every setting possible. I have qualifications in youth work, alternative education, forest school, outdoor learning and more. I’m first aid qualified and DBS checked. My passion is passing on knowledge, empowering people to become the best version of themselves and reconnecting us with this amazing earth we live on.
