To inform you that Wadham Year 11 Prom will take place on Friday 26th June.
Students will be arriving at the Wadham School site between 5:30pm and 6:45pm, and this may lead to a temporary increase in traffic in the surrounding area. We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause to motorists at that time.

💛FREE Summer Group for parents of 10–16-year-olds 💬
Parenting a teenager can feel overwhelming – especially when emotions run high.
Our Tuning into Teens parent group helps you build stronger, calmer relationships with your teen by learning how to understand, respond to and support their emotions.
Would you like to feel more confident:

✔️ Building emotional resilience of your teen
✔️ Helping your teen deal with conflict
✔️ Feeling more confident as a parent
Our Tuning into Teens summer group is a supportive, practical programme led by Somerset’s Mental Health Support Team.
📍 Where: The Horizon Centre, Bathpool, Taunton
⏰Time: 12:30–3:30pm
📅 When: Wednesdays: 29th July 12th August 19th August (you need to be able to attend all 3 dates)
💷 Cost: Free! The group is fully funded so there won’t be a cost to you.

GCSE results will be released on Thursday 20 August 2026. There are several ways students can receive their results:
In person:
Most students will collect their results from the New Sports Hall between 9.00 am and 10.30 am. Staff will be available during this time to offer support and answer any questions students may have.
By post:
Results can be posted to a student’s home address if a stamped, addressed A5 envelope is provided to the school office before the summer holidays. Please note that posted results are unlikely to arrive before Friday 21 August 2026.
Collection by a parent or relative:
If someone else is collecting results on a student’s behalf, the student must send a letter or email to Mr A. Jackson (Exams Officer) at [email protected], clearly authorising a named person to collect the results.
By email:
Results can be emailed to a student’s school email address if they are unable to collect them in person. Students should contact Mr Jackson directly to request this.

A huge well done to Izzy who has been selected to represent England at the Majorette European championships in Italy this October with her duet and part of two dance teams. Good luck Izzy!

A huge congratulations to our group of Year 8 students, the PPOJ Pilots, who represented the school at the Flying Start Grand Finale on Friday at Bristol Aerospace! ✈️👏
After achieving an impressive 4th place in the Flying Start Challenge at RNAS Yeovilton, the team went on to compete in the grand finale where they flew their glider and showcased their poster.
Students also had the opportunity to explore the Bristol Aerospace museum and take part in a range of exciting STEM challenges throughout the day. It was a brilliant experience that showcased their teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills.
We are incredibly proud of the students involved for their enthusiasm, dedication and excellent representation of the school! 🚀
