We provide 1 to 1 lessons tailored to the needs of your child. A FREE initial meeting with parents will provide vital information as to the background history of your child's learning and development. From there short assessments will be undertaken, within the first lessons, to gain a greater understanding of your child's difficulties (these initial assessments do not diagnose dyslexia or dyscalcu
lia, they provide information to aid planning). Once a start point has been ascertained work will begin using either Alpha to Omega or The Hickey, both multi sensory language courses. Lessons are an hour long and practice various areas from memory training (visual and auditory), processing speed, letter name and sound recognition, problem solving, handwriting and phonological awareness. Each lesson is cumulative and therefore builds on what has been learnt in previous lessons. The cost is £25 per lesson, if a deposit is paid for one lesson in advance, or £30 per lesson if paid on the day. You can also pay online, payable in advance at the beginning of the month. These consist of several assessments, as well as initial interview, which will build up a profile of the learners needs.
