The Smart Awards SA051C Tetra Leaning Ladder and Flat Roof course provides the practical knowledge and competency required to use the Tetra safety system correctly when accessing telegraph poles and flat roofs.
Delegates will learn:
• Safe working methods for accessing telegraph poles
• Correct use of the Tetra kit and ladder stand-off bar
• Safe access to flat roofs
• Working at height regulations
• Fall factor ratios and fall protection
• Correct ladder setup for poles and buildings
• Use of single-point and multiple restraint systems
• Safe working areas and hazard awareness
This one-day course combines classroom theory with practical training. Delegates must successfully complete a written test and practical assessment to achieve the recognised SA051C Smart Awards accreditation.
The course is suitable for telecoms engineers, installers, contractors and maintenance personnel working at height. Delegates must already hold SA001.
