Applications are now open for children starting primary school. If you are a parent, with a child born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, your child will be due to start primary school in September 2027. Parents are strongly advised to apply for three preferences.

Applications must be submitted to the child’s home local authority by:

• 15 January 2027 for pupils starting primary in September 2027.

Parents still need to apply even if the child has a brother or sister already at the school or the child is attending a nursery/preschool attached to the school. Some faith schools may also require parents and carers to submit a supplementary information form/confirmation of baptism. Further information about this will be available on the school’s website.

Parents should consider how their child will travel to school when making preferences. Parents can find out about school transport at support for home to school transport (cheshireeast.gov.uk).

Our free fire station open day is taking place on Thursday 13 August from 11am-4pm, with a SEN hour taking place from 10am-11am.

🌞 Lunch Crewe is back this summer – in a brand new venue! 🎉

YMCA Glo Café has joined the Lunch Crewe programme for 2026, helping provide free family activities and nutritious lunches for children throughout the summer holidays.

Come along and enjoy a fun, welcoming session where children can take part in activities, make new friends and enjoy a free lunch, while families spend quality time together.

🕥 Sessions run from 10.30am – 1.30pm

🍽️ Children's lunches must be booked by 11.45am on arrival. Please let the team know about any allergies when booking. You're still very welcome to attend after this time if you don't require lunch.
