We have been incredibly lucky to have Rhythm Time (Cheshire) provide sessions for our nursery children on a Wednesday afternoon 🎼 Rhythm, Rhyme and Music benefits all the seven areas of children's development. It enables children to develop both fine and gross motor skills 🖐🏽 Promotes confidence and boosts self esteem 😃 helps with language fluency 🗣 helps us to interpret word and sentence patterns 📖 develops a curiosity for differences in musical styles 👩‍🎤 Helps us to be expressive 👨🏻‍🎨 and to use our imagination 💃🏻 🕺🏻 all whilst having fun. Thank you to Hannah for our fantastic classes.

In Nursey we are passionate about providing the best possible environment in which to create a love for learning. We aim to create a space with open ended resources that ignite imaginations, develop critical thinking, promote curiosity, and invite children to explore.

To help with this we would like to put out a plea for the following items that you may have spare at home/ work
• Recipe books
• Menus
old diaries/ calendars/notebooks
• Utensils ( rolling pins, handheld whisks, pestle and mortar)
• Weighing Scales
• Stainless steel tea pots
• Drapes/ material
• Cable reels
• Natural objects/ seasonal natural objects (conkers, pine cones)
• Small part items (cotton reels, curtain rings, blocks, beads, buttons, balls, springs, bangles, pegs, chess pieces)
• Empty Pump action soap dispensers
• Old CDs/ remotes/ phones
• Photo frames

Any donations will be gratefully received

In the summer we grew sunflowers. The changes in the dying sunflowers sparked our curiosity and we set out to investigate the flower further. we found out that the tiny blossom in the centre was very sticky, it stuck to our fingers like it would stick to the bees legs. This lead to a discussion about how honey is made (we are going to taste some soon) and how important bees are 🐝🌻
