Dear Parents,

As this school year comes to an end, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. It has been an absolute pleasure caring for your children and working alongside your families. I never expected to receive such kindness, generosity, and support throughout the year.
Your warm words, thoughtful gestures, and willingness to help have meant more to me than I can ever express.
Thank you for every donation, every educational resource, stationery item, toy, cleaning supply, and all the delicious food you have so kindly shared. Every single act of kindness, no matter how big or small, has helped create a warm, loving, and happy environment for all of the children. Your generosity has come straight from the heart, and I truly appreciate every bit of it.

🐝🐞🦋 Minibeast Adventures🪱 🐛🐜

This term, our children have been exploring the fascinating world of minibeasts and insects. Through hands-on experiences, they discovered where bugs live, how they move, what they eat, and why they are so important for our environment.

Our young explorers enjoyed exciting minibeast hunts around the garden, carefully searching under leaves, logs and stones. We found lots of wonderful creatures, including worms, snails, slugs, spiders, woodlouse, millipede, ants, bee, earwigs, and ladybirds! The children observed them closely, compared their features, and learned how to handle living creatures with kindness and respect before safely returning them to their natural habitats.

To celebrate their fantastic learning, the children completed a Minibeast Scavenger Hunt and the best bug hunters received certificates for knowing insects habitats and names! 🌿🏅

These experiences supported many areas of the EYFS, including:
🌱 Understanding the World – exploring nature and living things.
💬 Communication and Language – introducing new vocabulary and discussing observations.
🧠 Personal, Social and Emotional Development – developing confidence, curiosity and respect for the natural world.
✋ Physical Development – using fine motor skills while carefully collecting and observing minibeasts.

What a wonderful term full of curiosity, discovery and outdoor learning! 🌼🐞💚

🍦 Ice Cream Van Role Play 🍦

Our little learners had a wonderful time running their very own Ice Cream Van! Using colourful foam "ice cream," cones, cups and scoops, the children took turns being shopkeepers and customers, serving delicious pretend treats to their friends.

This fun role-play activity encouraged: 🍦 Imaginative and creative play
🍦 Communication and language development
🍦 Turn-taking and social interaction
🍦 Fine motor skills through scooping and serving
🍦 Early maths concepts such as counting, sharing and choosing flavours

The children were fully engaged, using their imaginations while building confidence, teamwork and problem-solving skills. There were lots of smiles, laughter and "yummy" creations all around!
Learning through play is always the sweetest treat!

Childminder Assistant Position Available

A well-established local childminding service is in search of a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Childminder Assistant.

We are open to providing support with the necessary qualifications; however, any previous experience with children, an enhanced DBS check, and full paediatric first aid training would be advantageous. We are pleased to offer safeguarding and related courses, with all costs managed by us.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include planning and participating in play-based activities, supporting children's learning and development, assisting with personal care, as well as handling administrative tasks and day-to-day operations of the service.

Salary will be determined based on qualifications, age, and experience.

Please note that this position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Check and requires two references.

On May 3rd, people celebrate every year the declaration of the Constitution of 3rd May 1791—the first modern constitution in Europe.
In our home childcare - children joyfully took part in creative activities, making the Polish flag using different art techniques. Through play and hands-on learning, they discovered Poland, its national symbols, and colors. It was a lovely and meaningful day full of learning and creativity.
