Amazing Beginnings for Children on the High Street Children’s Day Nursery & Holiday Club. Preschool for children aged 18 months to 4 years old. Holiday club for up to 11 years old.

Flexible, affordable & parent-friendly, providing a positive, nurturing and holistic foundation for children’s futures. Our nursery provides care for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We also provide wrap around care for children from 3 to 11 years who attend local schools. We are open from 7.45am to 6pm Monday to Friday. The Nursery is closed on bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year.

A new term at Amazing Beginnings on the High Street ✨

There’s always a real sense of energy at our High Street nursery as we welcome new children, see some familiar faces and get to know the new families joining our ABC community.

We’ve been busy getting settled, exploring our environment and making the most of everything our location has to offer.

Our Urban Education approach means the learning doesn’t stop at our front door. The High Street, local businesses, green spaces, library and wider community all become part of the children’s experiences as they explore, observe, ask questions and make connections.

A busy, positive start to the new term and we’re looking forward to seeing where the children’s interests take us next. 💙💚❤️

And just like that… the summer holidays are over! ☀️

What a spectacular summer it has been. Thank you to every family who shared it with us, we’ve loved every adventure, activity, laugh and memory.

To all our children heading back to school over the next few days, we wish you a fantastic year ahead. 📚✨

To those returning to nursery, and to all our new children joining us for the very first time, we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors and start a brand-new year together. ❤️

And to our little ones starting big school for the very first time… we are SO proud of you. We’ll miss you, but we know you’re ready for your next adventure! 🌟

Autumn term starts on 2nd September, and we can’t wait to welcome back all our familiar faces and say a very special hello to the children joining us for the first time.

And to all our wonderful children starting big school this week… we will miss you more than you know! 🥹🎓

Watching you grow, learn, make friends and become the little people you are today has been such a privilege. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to hear all about your next adventure. ❤️

🏛️ Back to the Heritage Centre!

Our first visit was such a hit, and after receiving the most wonderful feedback, we just had to do it again!

A great example of how repetition builds on children’s experiences, giving them the chance to revisit, remember and discover something new each time.

Our preschool and holiday club children enjoyed a visit to the library, where they had the freedom to explore the books and choose what they wanted to read independently.

We encouraged the children to follow their own interests, while offering support and help whenever they needed it. 💙💚❤️

These simple experiences support so much learning, from developing a love of books and communication and language, to building independence, confidence and decision-making skills.

Most importantly, it was lovely to see the children excited to explore, choose and share stories in their own way. 📖✨

Our dedicated team brings together a wealth of knowledge and experience. We have early years professional, qualified teachers, experienced Level 2 and 3 practitioners, apprentices and early years assistants who all share a passion for giving children the very best start in life. What a Team! 💪

We had such a great time at Challenge Point Manchester for our Summer team building event. Plenty of laughs, a few challenges and, most importantly, time together outside of our usual working environment.

Team building is so important. It gives us the opportunity to build relationships, strengthen communication, understand each other’s strengths and create the trust that makes us stronger as a team. When we work well together, that has a positive impact on everything we do for our children, families and each other.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and got stuck in, you were brilliant! 🙌
