Last week in school we celebrated Kindness Week, and what an amazing week it was! Throughout the school, children were challenged to show acts of kindness—big and small—and every time they did, they added a link to their class Kindness Paper Chain. By Friday, every classroom was proudly displaying a chain filled with thoughtful, caring moments.
Mrs Elsley then set our KS2 children an extra challenge:
Could they keep the kindness going this week and build a paper chain long enough to stretch the entire length of the KS2 building… all the way up to the tunnel to the infants?
They did it!
With teamwork, encouragement, and plenty of kindness along the way, KS2 children created a chain that reached the full distance!
We are so proud of our pupils for showing that kindness really does connect us all.
Here’s to keeping the kindness going every day!

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to welcome Crewe Alexandra players, Jamie Knight-Lebel and Adrien Thibaut into school for a Q&A session with the children! Everyone had a fantastic time asking questions and hearing about life as professional footballers.
A huge thank you to the players for taking the time to visit, especially after their brilliant 2-0 win against Grimsby Town last night! It was inspiring to hear about their journey and what it takes to succeed on and off the pitch.
