Post 16 Options Parents Information Evening - Wednesday 16th November 2016

We would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your son/daughter to attend our Y11 Open Evening, this will take place on Wednesday 16th November in the Sports Hall on the Western Road Campus from 6.00 to 8.00pm.

The evening will provide the opportunity to find out more information about the two year A Level and BTEC qualifications that we offer in the Sixth Form. In addition, information about our extra-curricular programme and our Aspire Scholars Programme for students with high achievement potential also will be available.

Teachers of post-16 subjects and current students will be on hand to answer your queries about the content and structure of courses.

The 6th Form at Queen Elizabeth’s is a vibrant and popular choice for many students who are attracted by our excellent exam results, outstanding value-added figures, small class sizes and supportive personalised tutoring programme. In January 2014 Ofsted rated our 6th Form as ‘outstanding’. In the latest performance tables available, our 6th Form ranks at number 33 out of 4450 comprehensive state funded schools and colleges for A Level results.

Course information booklets will be available after Half Term, and further information is available on the Sixth Form area of the school website.

We do hope that you will take this opportunity to come and find out more about all that the Sixth Form at QE has to offer.

We are very sorry to say that we are still experiencing intermittent and complex ICT/server malfunctions.
