⚽ Year 3/4 Girls’ Football Match

Last Wednesday, our Year 3/4 girls’ footballers took on an experienced Landscore side. For some of our Bow players, this was their very first football match!

Landscore fielded several girls who play for Crediton United FC, so their match experience and goal-scoring ability were clear to see. However, our Bow girls did themselves proud! They showed fantastic resilience, making some confident tackles and putting in some excellent defensive performances against a strong opposition.

All the girls should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the confidence they showed on the pitch. Most importantly, they had a brilliant time and were already asking when they could play again!

Well done, girls! We can’t wait to see you back on the pitch! ⚽👏

Today we said a fond farewell to Miss Cox. The musical theatre club did a special performance in assembly before we presented her with some very special gifts. Miss Cox has been a wonderful member of the Bow Team and made a huge difference to all the children she has worked with. We wish her lots of luck in her new role.

Hares’ class enjoyed combining History and Design technology this week when they made their own Ancient Egyptian cardboard sarcophagi! The children did a great job getting to grips with decorating them appropriately and building them into a 3D structure!

At life skills club last week well learnt all about being responsible and safe in the kitchen. We had a great hands on workshop including making hot drinks and asking "how do you take your tea or coffee?" Safe ways to cut fruit and vegetables, and keeping our work area clean by washing up!
