We explored with different ways to use playdough today, firstly using it as mud with the farm animals. We observed the different prints that the animals made in the dough. We later went on to create hedgehogs using the playdough with pasta 🦔

We collected up some leaves 🍂 and sticks 🪵 amongst other items, on our walks last week, which we used in a tuff tray today. We also had some mint leaves which were fun to smell 🍃

The children had a great time exploring their senses during play in the tuff tray, they extended upon this play by taking some of the items from the tray into the garden kitchen area, where they pretended to do some cooking too!

We had a great first week back at preschool for the autumn term last week!

We have welcomed new children who are settling in nicely, we also enjoyed some walks around the local area. We have been looking for signs of autumn and even visited a local playground!
