Dear Parents and Carers
We have the photographer booked in for the 30th of October from 9-16.
If your child is already attending the nursery on this day and you would like to provide a change of clothes for their photo please bring them in a labelled bag.
If your child doesn't attend nursery on this day you are more then welcome to come in and have it done. We will just need you to let us know what time so we can run it smoothly, if you speak to a member of staff or comment on the tapestry notice for a time.
You will get proof card with photos on ( usually 2 weeks after photoshoot) and you can chose if you want to buy it or not.
Siblings are very welcome!

Blanket fort status: Masterpiece complete.

Such a simple idea and something we probably all remember doing when we were younger.

However it may be simple but includes a lot of learning and fun:
- Problem solving, the questions about how it's going to stay up, where does this clip go ?
- Teamwork and communication, asking who's going to hold this piece and which blanket to choose next i
- Motor skills, reaching up and stretching, crawling into the den
- Creativity and role play, pretending your in the sky with the stars
- Independence, ownership over that space they have created
- Self regulation, a quiet space where they can choose how to recharge and be away from the rest of the nursery

We will be closed on Friday 16th October due to having some vital maintenance done. The work is to be carried out Friday to Sunday . We will open as normal on Monday 19th October . Your October invoice will be adjusted .

We spent the morning diving deep into the Ofsted toolkit to ensure we're delivering the highest standard of care and learning for our little ones.
After a busy morning of prep, we swapped our notebooks for baker hats and spent the afternoon unleashing our creativity with some team cupcake decorating! 🧁
