Today we had wet oats and dry oats to resemble the wet days and dry days in autumn. We really enjoyed exploring each pots and talking about what they feel like by using our hands! We watched how the water made the dry oats wet!
It was fun all round 😍

The pumpkin patch has changed daily! 👀

🍁Yesterday was a very messy, fun pumpkin patch!🎃 There was a few pinecones that had dropped and we used some shaving foam and paint! Then we went to the art table where we used the pinecones to do some printing with paint which looked amazing! 🤩

🍁Today we used our hands to dig the pumpkins out and used tongs to pick them up and place them in our bowls. We then counted how many pumpkins we could fit in our bowls, looked at all the different coloured leaves and matched them with the big leaves 🍃
On the art table we rolled acorns around in paint and made some beautiful pictures!

What a brilliant first week back ☀️
It has been lovely welcoming back our returning children and getting to know all our new children. We have had a fantastic week filled with lots of amazing activities, fun and learning.
Our focus has been ‘All about me’ giving the children opportunities to talk about themselves, their families, their interests and what makes them special. It has been wonderful to see everyone joining in, exploring and building new friendships.
The children have all settled in really well and we are so proud of how confident they have embraced the new term 🥰
