The Cosy Cottage

Teddy joined the Cosy Crew two years ago and quickly became the missing piece to our Crazy, Cosy Big Boy crew we didn’t know we were missing until he arrived! Ted started as a timid and shy little guy but quickly settled in and let us see his inner crazy and hilarious sense of humour! Teddy is everyone’s friend from the boys, to the babies, the big girls to the toddlers and loves playing everyone’s different games. Recently it’s been all about the car tracks and small world play but he will happily be a customer at the hair salon, patient at the dentist, or in the hospital as a heavily pregnant mumma too 🤣 Teddy is my biggest cheerleader-not a day goes by where he doesn’t praise me for my cooking skills (who knew a crumpet could make someone’s day!), compliment my clothes (yes he likes my dodgy combos) or shares his exciting and enthusiasm about the day- ‘Catherine this was the best day ever!’ Is a weekly comment and he genuinely means it!! Teddy has grown from a toddler who wouldn’t even attempt to change his own clothes or put on his shoes to one of my most independent children-watching his genuine surprise and pride when he managed to do everything himself for the first time was heartwarming and now he encourages the younger children and will tell them ‘you can do it, I believe in you!’- So Teddy my cuddly little friend, I know you will thrive on your new journey into reception and tackle new challenges head on-because we know you can do it and we believe in YOU! # # #

Abel joined the Cosy Crew just over two years ago as a very happy baby who was constantly smiling with his cheeky smile and curious nature eager to explore and was very sociable! He’s always loved a story and many an hour we spent sharing books together before he discovered the tonie box and upgraded me! He loves the song bag and any action songs (especially DannyGo) and has the most incredible rhythm. Abel is always happy to see everyone every single day regardless of how many times he’s seen them that week! It’s hard to have a blue or grumpy moment with Abel around as his fun personality is infectious and you can’t help but laugh when you are with him!
Everyone adores him and he is always making them laugh!
Abel is a clever sausage and has a fabulous memory, he will remind me of promised made or activities we’ve planned which is super helpful too!

I will miss the cheeriest greetings every morning, and being asked with eager anticipation ‘what are we doing today Catherine’ and regardless of the plans the same high levels of exciting and enthusiasm ensues! I’m so excited for your next chapter and know it’s the best opportunity which helps a tiny bit with the sadness! Your new school are very lucky to have you! ⭐️ ❤️ 🏡
