✨ Halfway Through the Year at Toad Hall Crawley! ✨

As we reach the halfway point of the year, we wanted to take a moment to share some of the special moments that have stood out to us here at Toad Hall Crawley. 💚

We are incredibly proud of our setting and so thankful for the wonderful community around us. We are lucky to have such a kind, supportive and engaged parent network, to work for a lovely company with such a fantastic support network, and, most importantly, to have an amazing team who work tirelessly every single day to ensure our children have the very best start in life. 🌱✨

And, of course, none of it would be possible without our little ones! 🥰

Watching them arrive each morning with their big smiles, excited faces and endless curiosity is what makes everything we do so special. From learning new things and building friendships to exploring, laughing and creating magical memories together, every day brings something to celebrate. 💫

Here’s to all the memories we’ve made so far this year and to all the adventures, achievements, laughter and magical moments still to come! 🐸💚

🏎️✨ A huge thank you to one of our wonderful neighbours for bringing along their amazing sports car for the children to explore!

The children had an incredible time sitting inside the car, pressing the horn, listening to the engine, and discovering all the exciting features. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that sparked lots of curiosity, conversation, and imaginative play.

A big thank you for creating such a memorable experience for our children! ❤️

🏁 Have you ever been in a sports car before?

Our little learners had an amazing time exploring the vibrant rhythms and traditions of Africa during our African Drum Workshop with Mangotree Kids🥁🌍

Through music, movement, and storytelling, the children immersed themselves in African culture in a fun, hands-on way, developing an appreciation for diversity while having lots of fun.

These interactive sessions also support early years development by:
✨ Building listening and concentration skills
🥁 Developing rhythm, coordination, and gross motor skills
🤝 Encouraging turn-taking, and confidence

What a fantastic experience filled with smiles, laughter, and the joy of making music together!💚

This week, we’ve had so much fun with water play across the nursery, helping to keep our children cool and happy during the warm weather! 💦☀️

From splashing in the water trays to exploring ice play and enjoying gentle sprays in the garden, there have been smiles all around. Of course, we only headed outside when it was cool enough to do so safely. 🧊🌿

We also made sure everyone stayed well hydrated, with plenty of cold drinks and ice in our water bottles to help keep us refreshed throughout the day.

We are so proud of our little ones and the way they have embraced all of these exciting sensory experiences. It’s been such a fun-filled week!
