After singing “wheel on a bus” 🎶🎶 we decided on get a bus ride home.

So many learning opportunities;
⭐️Road Safety - sitting down whilst waiting for the bus & holding onto the buggy when near the road
⭐️Patience - super tricky for 2 year olds but they waited so nicely.
⭐️Looking for the number ‘20’ bus
⭐️ Saying “hello” and “thank you” to the bus driver

Linking their play to the real world helps the children to learn about the world around them. But most of all, it’s fun!

Lots of fun at Buchan park today. We started off by waving to the trucks on the bridges and getting super excited when they beeped back! Then we went for a lovely walk and found a Den to explore. We then set up some activities with our friends to explore - number counting, mark making, binoculars, books, mud kitchen and diggers. Then a yummy picnic and back home for some well needed naps 😊

Today we visited Mill pond to feed the ducks and a lovely walk around the pond with our friends. We then popped to the park to run off our energy and practice our climbing skills. We also had some picnic blankets out with toys and crafts. Finished off with a lovely story - Flower Thief.
