🖐A little bit about me 🖐
I thought I'd just pop on and say a little hello and give a little bit about me to the world 😊... my name is Sarah, I'm rapidly approaching 30 years old and thought it was about time to get out of my comfort zone with my career plans!! 😅...
Sometimes I think I've done life in swings and roundabouts but I wouldn't change my journey for a second!! I had my son when I was 19 and had nooooo clue what I wanted to do with career plans, it wasn't until he was 3 and off to playgroup for 3 full days a week that I had time to think about it.... I volunteered for a while in different roles, then I helped at his playgroup and someone saw potential in me that I'm only just seeing in myself now 🥰... I studied for 3 years to gain a level 3 NVQ, whilst working part time and raising my son. I haven't left childcare since ❤️... its a genuine PASSION of mine to see children learn and grow!! To watch the fascination on thier faces as they find out something new is my souls purpose!!
Over the last 3 years I've worked in several different environments, never really feeling like I've found the right place for me, which brings me here.... I want to offer something so different to establishments.... I want children to feel like coming to my home nursery is like going to thier aunty's house, or going for play dates, with heaps of learning through play, following thier interests to achieve new levels of understanding everyday, but new levels for the individual themselves not new levels to tick boxes, or to see what they can't do.... just to focus entirely on what makes your child individual and unique and celebrate those achievements all whilst supporting families through all kinds of life journeys!
