🌊 3CL’s Fantastic Day Out in Brighton! ☀️

3CL had a fantastic day out in Brighton with their friends! 💙

The students enjoyed an exciting trip on the i360, taking in the spectacular views across Brighton and the sea. 🌊 They were fascinated watching the i360 travel up and down and loved using their senses to explore and experience the journey.

Afterwards, the students enjoyed a lovely lunch together at a local café, where they had the opportunity to listen and dance along to live music. 🎶💃 It was wonderful to see the students interacting with one another, developing their communication skills and enjoying time together in the community.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and happy moments throughout the day! 😊

Well done, 3CL — you had a brilliant time and made some wonderful memories together! 🌟💙

🌟 Fine Motor Skills in 3EJ! 🌟

3EJ have been working hard to develop their fine motor skills through lots of fun and hands-on playdough activities! 👐😊

The children have been practising every week, strengthening their hands and fingers while developing their coordination, control and creativity. 🎨

It has been fantastic to see their progress — they have improved with every lesson! 👏💪

🌟 Class 3JH Have Settled In! 🌟

Class 3JH have made a fantastic start to the new school year and have settled in so well! 💛

The students have been busy taking part in lots of exciting activities and experiences, including Attention Autism, Forest School, shopping, visits to our local area, walks with Rocky 🐶 and cooking. 🌳🛒🍳

It has been wonderful to see everyone getting involved, exploring new experiences and having lots of fun along the way! 😊

🐦🌿 KS4 Science in Action! 🔬✨

Our KS4 students have been learning about natural selection and adaptation by investigating different bird beaks. Using a range of tools as "beaks", they explored which were best suited to collecting different foods in different habitats and discovered how adaptations help birds survive! 🐦🥜🌾

👏 Great teamwork, scientific thinking, and lots of fun learning! 🌟

📚🦴 Skeleton Superstars! 🦴📚
Students in 3FB and 3GM have been learning all about the human skeleton. They had great fun piecing together the bones, discovering how the skeleton fits together, and learning the names and locations of some of our major bones.
A fantastic hands-on lesson with lots of teamwork and learning! 🌟

🌈 Learning About Ourselves and Our Feelings 🌈

4CT have spent some time learning all about themselves, their feelings and the importance of talking about our emotions. 💛

They read the lovely story Ruby’s Worry, which gave the children the opportunity to follow Ruby as she went about her day while carrying a worry with her. 📖

The story helped to explore how worries can sometimes feel big, how they can affect us throughout the day, and how talking about our feelings can help. The students showed great understanding and empathy. 🥰

It was a wonderful opportunity to remind the students that it’s okay to have worries and that we don’t have to keep them to ourselves. 💕
