Buds in Bloom Forest School

🌳 Forest bathing class on Saturday at Buchan Country Park 🌳
We are very excited to hold our first forest based class at this new location of Buchan Park in Crawley. The session on Saturday will involve a lovely gentle mindful walk that transitions the group from the noise and busyness of life to the calm, quiet and tranquillity of the natural woodlands. We will gather together at a lovely woodland circle and practice some great forest bathing activities as well as mindful woodland crafts. This location is truly wonderful and we can’t wait to welcome you to this wonderful class on Saturday.

This class is completely FREE of charge and is funded by Comic Relief. Why not come join us for a stroll and some mindful time in the woods on a sunny September afternoon.

I am gutted to have to cancel our last ever session due to the risk of thunderstorms ⛈ I have emailed everyone booked on to attend.

We had so much fun in the sun today 🤩☀️ the wildlife garden at Buchan Park is so shady and cool, it was the perfect place to be!

The sunflower painting was a highlight, but we also loved planting flowers, mixing oats, hammering nails, finding bugs, making bracelets and exploring bark rubbing. 🌳🌿

Next week is our final Tree Tots session and we are sold out. But ✨GOOD NEWS✨ I’m going to open up some more spaces, so come along for our last session at Buchan Park!

We had a super special 3rd birthday party this morning 🥳 I’ve known most of these families for 5+ years, and felt honoured to be asked to host this lovely boys birthday party 🥰 we had such a blast! Happy Birthday A! 💙

We had a fantastic group birthday party for these antenatal friends this morning, followed by a picnic in the sun! ☀️ The children had lots of fun exploring nature and cooking crumpets on the fire! Happy Birthday everyone! 🥳🎂

I am so sad to be writing this, but our sessions will be stopping at the end of August 😔 we had a great run over the last year, but with the cost of living going up, I am having to put my little family first. I have made the decision to not run any sessions now until the summer holidays where I hope our sessions will be busier. Parties will still go ahead as planned. 🌸

I have LOVED starting up Buds in Bloom and have had so much fun meeting new families and watching the children explore nature! You lovely lot have made this past year a dream and I can’t thank you enough for your continued support 💚

Happy Friday everyone!! 🦋

We had a wonderful day at our Alfold site today! At Tree Tots we explored painting with nature, water play, hammock swinging and feeding the fairies some yummy porridge! 🧚‍♀️ And at Home hEDgehogs we climbed trees, balanced on the tightrope, practiced tool work and did den building! 🌳 Both groups enjoyed making toffee apples on the campfire too, they were yummy 😋

There is no session next Friday due to there being a festival on the site, but our July sessions are now available on the booking site! Have a great weekend 🍄🌿🐝
