💙 Make it last forever, friendship never ends. ☀️
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their leavers’ party today after school. A big shoutout to Mr Johnson, Mrs Jones and Mr Szymczyk for organising such a fantastic farewell party filled with games, inflatables and pizza! ⚽️🍕

We were delighted to take part in a wonderful Good Shepherd celebration at Worth Abbey, joined by schools from across the Diocese. Travelling alongside St Wilfrid’s, we shared in a truly joyful and uplifting occasion led by Monsignor Tony Barry.
Our children represented St Francis beautifully—proudly parading our school banner and presenting our school anchor at the altar. It was a meaningful moment and a great example of our Catholic community coming together in faith and celebration.

🦭Year Two at the Zoo🐧
What a wonderful wildlife day! The children learnt even more about habitats and animal adaptations to support their learning in Science, bravely got up close with a Madagascan hissing cockroach and a milk snake, explored the many beautiful animals cared for by the zookeepers, and heard more about Drusillas’ conservation work.
The children represented our school amazingly today and their teachers could not be prouder of them.

Yesterday, we had a fantastic celebration with play equipment and biscuits for our KS1 golden readers this half term. Reading is so valuable to children's lives, and it is great to see many of them getting on board with recording 4 or more times in their reading journals. Well done everyone.

The children (and staff) in EYFS had a great time during their Tom's talking reptiles visit . The children met a stick insect, a millipede, a gecko, a tortoise and two snakes. With lots of positive attitudes they either stroked or held the animals. They described the animals too by talking about what they looked like and how they felt.
